Last week we wrote about Smartlogic’s Semaphore winning the Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation Award.  Today we would like to make you aware of another recent Smartlogic honor with the article “Smartlogic Chosen as 2011 KMWorld ‘Promise Award’ Finalist.”

Smartlogic’s Semaphore software has already been awarded KMWorld’s Trendsetting Products Award for 2010 and 2011, selected from over 800 entries.  Now, the KM Promise Award indicates that Smartlogic is a company that delivers on its promise of innovative technology solutions.  According to KMWorld:

“Many companies promise that their technology is the best knowledge management solution. One of the greatest challenges for organizations purchasing these technologies is to determine which of the companies will deliver on its promise. The award-winning organisation demonstrates how it goes beyond simply delivering technology to working with clients to ensure that both the technology and knowledge processes are embedded into the work processes. In other words, it helps organizations realize positive business results.”

The KMWorld judges commented that Semaphore was chosen due to its unique capabilities to analyze, classify, and reveal content.  Semaphore’s ontology management, content classification, text mining, and semantic analysis helps an organization maximize their return on valuable information assets.
